ZULU WAR
HELMET A faithful copy of the
famous Zulu War helmet, as worn by the 24th Regiment of Foot, who fought
so valiantly at Isandlhwana and Rorkes Drift. The body is covered with
white fabric (green on the inside). During the Zulu war, the helmet was worn both with and
without the regimental plates shown on the previous page. It is shown here with the
gilt NCO's helmet plate, which does not come with the helmet. If you purchase a plate at the same time as a
helmet, we will mount it for you free of charge (in fact, if you don’t
want it mounted, be sure to let us know).
